Product Review: sibu Sea Buckthorn Balancing Facial Cleanser

Lately I have been looking for a new facial cleanser that contains all natural products but wasn’t sure which one I should try!  As we all know anything we purchase that is all natural or organic is more expensive than those products that contain manufactured ingredients.  I didn't want to waste money on a product that I didn't like and ended up using only once. 

When I received the offer  to conduct a product review for sibu Sea Buckthorn Balancing Facial Cleanser I was very excited and eager to try their product and jumped at the opportunity!

Winter Storm Alfred Update: What I have learned in the Past Week

Our power finally came on Sunday afternoon!!! Yeah!!!  

First I want to say Thank you to everyone that stopped by and left comments on my post. It really meant a lot to me and my family to know that we were being kept in prayers and best wishes were being sent our way during this time!

This past week really tested me both on a relationship level and mother level. It is one thing when there is a planned vacation. You planned to work late, to make sure that all your work is caught up & take care of certain household things (cleaning, laundry, etc). You are able to go into the vacation relaxed. Activities are planned during the day and money has been budgeted accordingly. When there is an act of God and the events that unfold are surreal it really is a different ballgame all together.

Winter Storm Alfred (October 29, 2011): In My Eyes

So this year in the North East we have been subjected to a Tornado, a Hurricane and Earthquake…now we were hit by an early year Nor’easter that caused widespread damage and turmoil as it rolled through the North East Halloween weekend! (October 29, 2011)

The local news stations tried to prepare all the residents of CT that this will be a potentially devastating storm because the leaves were still on the trees. But I will say that most of us (me included) didn’t think it would be “that bad.” And honestly the news stations love making a big deal out weather events that turn out to be nothing in the end. Boy was I WRONG this time!

I was in the house with 3 small children and it was fine during the day because as the snow continued to fall I could at least see the tree branches and trees that were falling. As it got dark that Saturday night is when my motherly instincts started to kick into high gear. I was pacing relentlessly through the house and flinching consistently as I could only hear the sound of branches cracking and then falling to the ground with a loud “THUD.” At one point we timed how often we heard a branch fall it was consistently 1 every 5-10mins at the height of the storm.
