As many of you know I have been redecorating, painting, and reorganizing my house over the last couple of months. I am almost done, just a couple more rooms to be painted.
What I noticed was that some of the walls appeared to be bare and I needed a little something else in to bring it out. I had hung all the pictures I could and I still didn’t know exactly what I could in the kitchen. Then I thought that maybe I could do decals in those areas – similar to the Dora Decals I did in my daughter’s room a few months ago.
When I received an email from Dali Decals stating that they were willing to do a product review and giveaway you couldn’t kick the smile off my face if you wanted. Then the challenging part came – trying to determine what I wanted.
Dali Decals selection of decals was overwhelming. There were SOOO many GREAT designs and patterns it was hard to choose just one. So, I didn’t. I chose a few different patterns based on the vision that I had in my head for the wall space.
I knew that I wanted something that had words, and then some smaller decals around it. My kitchen and hallways are painted yellow, so I chose colored decals to make it pop.
The decals fit the spaces perfectly and the only trouble I had was getting some of the lettering to initially stick to the wall. I ended up using a butter knife to just smooth over the paper and it came off fine after that.
Overall, this was a great company to work with and the product was fantastic and was perfect for what I needed. The decals brought out the colors and it added a special subtle touch to the areas.
